Jamie xx in Bali – In Waves Tour
Watch Jamie xx in Bali as he brings his In Waves Tour to the island of the gods. The British artist, one-third of the iconic band The xx, will be performing at Desa Potato Head, Seminyak, on Saturday 28 December 2024.
Bali will be one of only four destinations that Jamie xx will be holding in Asia, including Thailand, Taiwan and Singapore. The tour introduces his brand new album, In Waves —a sonic journey that combines ethereal beats with strobe-lit rhythms, inviting listeners into a dance floor dreamscape. In Waves is a melancholic paradise, a reflection on the spiritual capacities of humanity, merging the emotional highs and lows of existence into an unforgettable experience.
Jamie xx first made his mark when The xx burst onto the scene with their debut album xx in 2009, which climbed to number three on the UK charts and earned the prestigious Mercury Music Prize. He followed this success with Coexist in 2012, and later, as a solo artist, with In Colour in 2015—an album that was nominated for the Mercury Prize, BRIT Awards, and a Grammy.
This tour represents Jamie xx’s long-awaited debut in Asia, where his live performances will recreate the intimacy and intensity of his past, from The xx’s sell-out residencies in Manchester and New York, to his solo success across the globe.
