Currently in Bali, we’re pretty serious about our brunch. Whether it be chicken porridge and nasi campur breakfast, or waffles and flows of Bloody Marys, we have no shortage of awesome spots to get our brunch on. Keeping later hours and killer cocktails in mind, we took a look at one of our favourite spots in town for their new, scrumptious Sunday brunch offerings.

For us at NOW! Bali, a Sunday brunch is more than a meal; it’s an event. It’s like starting your day with a celebration. For quite a number of Bali residents, you’re committing a faux pas if you never go to one. It’s just amazing how Sunday brunches have become a part of the island’s culture.

Anyway, as one of the pioneering hot spots that cemented the weekend indulgent ritual, FIRE at W Bali – Seminyak has taken its Sunday Brunch to a whole new experience, featuring more diverse treasures from western specialties, live counters and seafood bar, to a premium selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages accompanied by live acoustic performances.

The all new Sunday Brunch at FIRE promises to heighten every sense with a vibrant mix of flavours and aromas as the bustling combination of stalls and food carts feature a combination of tastes from the West to the East. To begin the culinary journey, you will be offered “Secret of Amazon” or “Shirley Temple” as a welcome drink before starting to indulge in the buffet selection on bistro classics that include roasts, tartars, salads, and raw bar.

As for the main attraction, there is nothing like the smell of a charcoal grill being fired up in an inviting outdoor setup at FIRE’s al fresco area – BBQ and Smokehouse station featuring Argentinian grills: lamb merguez, pork ribs, chicken wings, sausages, and more. Next to the station is the Mexican tacorilla: a variety of taco and nacho are served on a warm, fresh, handmade tortilla. Other stations include curry corner, selection of soup corner to the Raclette cheese where you can choose your ingredients and have the cheese melted on the top.

As a sweet finale to your weekend feast at the restaurant you can satisfy your sweet tooth at the “Dessert Cave”, which is filled with options of chocolate ice cream, vanilla frozen yogurt, chocolate cake, crème brûlée, lemon meringue tart, fruit choux, cheese cake to assorted Balinese cakes.

FIRE Sunday Brunch is priced at IDR 550,000++ per person inclusive of food and non alcoholic beverages, or IDR 1,165,000++ per person inclusive of food and free-flowing wine, beer, juices, and smoothies. Every Sunday from 12 – 3.30pm.
