Dissolve Weekend 2024: Marriott Bonvoy’s 3-Day Music Festival in Bali

Music lovers and party-seekers will have something to look forward to this weekend as Dissolve Weekend 2024, Marriott Bonvoy’s highly-anticipated annual music festival, is set to return for a three-day music festival across three Marriott properties in Bali!

Following its debut in 2022, Dissolve Weekend has proven to be a successful annual programme by Marriott Bonvoy, its exceptional music and entertainment programmes across Marriott properties in Bali enjoying widespread acclaim from festival-goers. Building on its success, Dissolve Weekend 2024 will up the ante when it comes to its immersive and electrifying festival experience from 16-18 August 2024.

This year, Dissolve Weekend will be held in three popular Marriott Bonvoy properties on the island including R Bar at Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa, Woobar at W Bali – Seminyak, and KulKul Beach House at The Laguna, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Nusa Dua, Bali. The three-day festival will showcase an impressive lineup of local and international DJs, including Indonesian household name, Dipha Barus, and an array of special acts to take the annual phenomenon to new heights.

Friday, 16 August 2024 – R Bar at Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa

Kicking off this year’s festival, partygoers can head to the vibrant R Bar at the stylish Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa. Guests can savour handcrafted cocktails, mesmerising ocean views, and catchy sunset beats. Renowned mixologist Sebastian Von Arx, the Bar & Operations Manager of Segno Bali, one of the 25 finalists of 50 Best Bars The Blend Scholarship 2023, will curate a bespoke cocktail menu for an unforgettable sensorial experience.

The festival will feature performances by DJ Ona Nara (3pm – 5pm), blending traditional culture with electronic music, DJ Katze (5pm – 7pm) with her genre-blending sets, Bueno Aires’ DJ LuN (7pm – 9pm) famed for his analogue instrument master, and R Bar’s resident DJ Aswin Prayudi (9pm – 11pm), who will wrap up the night with his high-energy beats.

Saturday, 17 August 2024 – Woobar at W Bali – Seminyak

The second day of Dissolve Weekend will take W Bali – Seminyak’s iconic sunset and party hotspot, Woobar. Celebrated for bringing world-class talents to perform at its stylish and lively venue, party-goers can expect an impressive line-up of DJs to grace the stage at Woobar, including its main headline, a household name in the Indonesian music industry – Dipha Barus.

The event will kickstart with a sunset session featuring the jazzy house and soulful sounds by DJ Nanda from 5.30pm to 8.30pm. When night falls, DJ Wilson will take over the deck with his beat-pumping tunes from 8.30pm to 10.30pm. This is followed by the main highlight of the night as globally recognised Indonesian DJ, producer and musician, Dipha Barus, takes to the stage with his unique blend of house music with traditional Indonesian elements from 10.30pm to midnight. He has captivated audiences not only nationally but globally with his remixes and festival performances, cementing his status as a prominent figure in Indonesia’s electronic music scene.

Dissolve Weekend will also feature a special bar takeover by Dodoh, the head mixologist of Bangkok’s acclaimed Revolucion Cocktail, who will be concocting a variety of innovative cocktails.

Sunday, 18 August 2024 – KulKul Beach House at The Laguna, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Nusa Dua, Bali

Concluding Dissolve Weekend on its third and final day, guests can cool down and enjoy an easy Sunday will elevated cocktails and swaying beats at Nusa Dua’s chic KulKul Beach House. The event will feature award-winning mixologist Marina Kishida from Gold Bar, The Tokyo EDITION, Toranomon, one of the World’s 50 Best Bars, who is set to enrich KulKul’s laidback beach vibes with her refined cocktail artistry.

Guests can indulge in Laguna’s famed Sunday Brunch at Arwana Restaurant from 2pm to 5pm, which features a sumptuous spread of barbecue, fresh seafood and Balinese specialties, accompanied by bespoke cocktails and bubbles. The event will be enlivened by performances from DJ Allyn featuring saxophonist Yudo Saxo from 4pm – 6pm for a unique musical fusion, DJ Ona Nara from 6pm – 8pm with her blend of traditional and electronic music, and DJ Evie from 8pm – 10pm with her energetic sets.
