An Extraordinary Artistic Journey of Resilience and Inclusion at Kappa Senses Ubud

Kapapa Senses Ubud proudly presents “An Extraordinary Artistic Journey of Resilience and Inclusion”, a special painting exhibition showcasing the phenomenal artistic talents of individuals from Cahaya Mutiara Ubud Foundation and Bakti Senang Hati Foundation, two local organisations that support people with disabilities.

Through their dedication to a continuous CSR programme, the resort has had the profound honour of witnessing the life-changing power of art in the lives of these exceptional individuals. These talented artists, who live with various disabilities, have managed to channel their experiences and emotions into vibrant, inspiring works that exude raw authenticity and profound beauty. Their paintings are not merely canvases but windows into the resilience of the human spirit – a testament to the universal language of art that transcends all barriers.

Not only have they found their voice through art, but these artists have managed to inspire others to see the world through a new point of view filled with empathy, understanding, and a deep appreciation for the unique gifts that every individual possesses.

The inspiring exhibition will be held from Monday, 15 July 2024 until Friday, 16 August 2024 at Kappa Senses Ubud, presenting visitors with the chance to appreciate the spellbinding paintings, and if desired, to purchase them and support the artists and their respective foundations.

Kappa Senses Ubud invites visitors to join in this celebration of inclusion, where the power of art knows no limits. Together, they invite you to uplift these inspiring individuals, fostering a more compassionate and equitable community that embraces the diverse tapestry of human experience.

Concurrently, Kappa Senses Ubud’s semi-gastronomy Kokokan Restaurant will be offering a wonderful set dinner menu, Kokokan Dinner with Purpose. The 4-course dinner is priced at IDR 850,000++ per person, curated specially by their Executive Chef and talented culinary team. The tantalising menu begins with ocean produces, wagyu beef with a savoury puff, asparagus, shimeji mushroom, spinach potato puree, truffle cream, and jus as the main course, and a decadent chocolate sphere for dessert with raspberry jelly, vanilla anise whip, crumble, and passion fruit sorbet.

20% of proceeds from the dinner will be given to the charity consistently organised by Kappa Senses Ubud as part of their meaningful CSR initiatives and programme.
