Going to a dinner crafted by just one celebrity or island-renowned chef is often enough to lure any discerning gastronome to a special event. However, when six gather together for a UNICEF Gala Dinner at the St.Regis Bali to raise money for children, it is certainly difficult to say ‘no’.
On Saturday, 15th of October 2016, this special event dubbed ‘An Extraordinary Moonlight Dinner’ is set to be one of Bali’s most prominent charity events of 2016. On the stunning beachfront venue the Cloud Nine Terrace at The St.Regis Bali Resort, under Bali’s starlit skies, you are invited to indulge in a truly one-of-a-kind, 6-course, wine-paired degustation menu in the name of charity.
The chef’s taking part in this gala dinner are (from left to right): Chef Kevin Cherkas of Cuca, Chef Maurizio Bombini of Mandapa Ritz Carlton, Chef Made Putra of the Laguna Resort Bali, Celebrity Chef Farah Quinn,Chef Agung Ardiawan from the St.Regis and Chef Mandif Warokka of Teatro Gastroteque.
Each separate course has been thoughtfully crafted by one of the featured chefs, who have no doubt put their very own personal touches into their culinary creations for the evening. Together with pre-dinner cocktails, a live auction and of course tasteful dinner entertainment, an evening of refined indulgence has been set. Nonetheless, it is the reason for such a momentous event that is at the centre of all of this. Since 1995, the Starwoods Hotels and Resorts group have been working together with the United Nations Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) to improve the lives of children around the world; $35 million has been raised since that time, helping more than 4.5 million children.
This 2016, The St.Regis Bali Resort and The Laguna, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Nusa Dua have joined together to create something bigger and better than previous years, in hope of raising even more money.
This UNICEF Gala Dinner at the St.Regis Bali, or the Extraordinary Moonlight Dinner, is priced at IDR 2,600,000 net per person. Price is inclusive of aperitifs and canapés, 6-course degustation menu (including amuse bouche) with wine pairing and donation for UNICEF.
