When it comes to beverages, Ubud is known for concoctions of ‘whatever fruits and vegetables’ served in a glass. Some of them taste good, but most of the time they’re just too healthy that it’s a chore to drink them.
But one place in Ubud knows just how to make that perfect ‘Ubud’ blend. Petani restaurant at Alaya Ubud, with its selections of effervescent cocktails, is my latest, delicious find to just chill out and have a drink (or two!).
Take the restaurant’s Florale cocktail as an example; it’s a quenching blend of herbal gin (don’t we all love a little bit of gin in every drink we have) and infused agave nectar. It’s simply a beautiful drink.
