Anantara Uluwatu Bali Resort is celebrating Indonesia Independence Day with a variety of celebrations, one of which is by serving the special “Patriotic Cocktails” that are refreshingly delicious with mixes of lychee, rum and mint jelly with rum, martini rosso, Balinese grape, strawberry, blueberry and blackcurrant. Alternatively, those who are more likely to be calorie conscious can opt for the “Independence On Ice Mocktail”, a mix of soursop juice, Balinese grape, cranberry juice and passion fruit. In addition to the cocktail and mocktail, and to promote one of Indonesia’s culinary icons, the resort’s executive chef will present a special meal for the guest, called the Mini Tumpeng. Tumpeng is known as a cone-shaped rice dish like mountain with some dishes, and traditionally featured in special ceremonies.
