The crowded places are still crowded but behind the facades, are acres of spaces as rural Bali begins to assert itself.

Suddenly the villas and fancy hotels blend into their surroundings of green rice fields and ordinary life of old Bali takes over. It is always a thrill. Even young Balinese may not recognize their beautiful island when taken to this new level!

Depending on time and place, and your rapport with the pilot, you can get up close and personal with secret places, explore volcanoes or do a long coastal run from Kuta to Canggu and Tanah Lot and see the whole littoral come into a new kind of focus. And depending on time will determine how much you can explore, yet, whatever you may see, you will always be left wanting more.

Bali is always beautiful and seeing it from the air just makes it more so.
