Celebrate the end of the year with Kougelhopf, a specialty from Alsace, Austria, Czech Republic and south of Germany. Made with soft yeast dough, The Kougelohpf is similar to a brioche. The dough is accented with marinated dry raisins, whole almond or chocolate drops. Baked into a special circular pan with a central tube and originally made of pottery, this cake is the perfect takeaway enjoyment pairing with a cup of afternoon tea or sips of evening cocktail.
