In the depths of the cool Taro jungles, north of Ubud town, the Mason Elephant Park Lodge affords the unique opportunity of waking up to giants. That is, Bali’s largest herd of critically endangered Sumatran elephants that call this verdant sanctuary their home.

The safari-style lodge features all the trappings of a luxury boutique resort, with five different room categories from the Paddy View Rooms overlooking the surrounding rice fields to the expansive Taro Executive Suite that enjoys sweeping views of the park, and indeed its majestic inhabitants! Of course, each room has its distinct elephant decorative touch.

Great for families, rooms allow for children up to the age of 12 to share with their parents. The lodge features facilities only available to in-house guests, such as the swimming pool and pool terrace, Mammoth Head Terrace, Bar and Lounge, the fitness room, Safari Wellness Spa, plus the special experience of being picked up at your room by an elephant chauffeur. Of course, the park’s wide-ranging experiences are available to in-house guests, with some exclusive or priority access.

Most importantly a stay at the lodge extends the precious time children and families can spend interacting with the elephants in the beautifully tropical surroundings.
