The coasts of Bali are celebrated for their vibrant life in the fishermen villages, the breathtaking colourful skies during sunsets especially on the south coast, the serene, secret beaches that beg to be explored by responsible travellers, and the some of the best surfs in the world that lure many experienced surfers to ride them.
CALLING IT A DAY
Bali attracts both amateur and pro surfers to come to her shores to have some fun. The pros are in the know; they always come on the right months of the year to ride some of the best waves in the world.
QUAINT VILLAGE
Serenity best describes this little jewel located on the east side of Bali. Mooring traditional fishing boats add to that coastal perfection.
LADY AND HER KELP
A Nusa Lembongan lady tending her seaweed line. Seaweed farming is one of the few ways coastal residents of the tiny island maintain and support their humble lifestyle.
SOLD OUT
Fish containers have emptied on the beach of Kedonganan village near Jimbaran, and are transported to the beachfront Kedonganan fish market and other wet markets as well as many, many restaurants and hotels around South Bali.
THE SHOW IS ON
When the sun slowly and gracefully sinks into the horizon, every pair of eyes would look at the sky. Sunsets in Bali always entertain us.
WHERE’S WAYAN
Many Balinese men set out to the sea during sunset time, and when the tide is low, they go chest-deep in the water to test their luck. The freshest catch of the day will be served for dinner if they’re lucky.
