Wonderful news to all music enthusiasts on the island as the Roads to Bali Roots Festival, a refreshing new music event and the first of its kind, will soon launch its first instalment in Bali. The two-day event will showcase the colourful diversity of the Balinese music scene and genres ranging from reggae, blues, jazz, indie rock and more.
Organised by Live & Loud Productions, Roads to Bali Roots Festival 2019 will be held on Saturday & Sunday, 12-13 October 2019. Roads to Bali Roots Festival will be the first series of music events that will lead up to the biggest music festival ever to grace the island of Bali. The inaugural event will also see dozens of local vendors and culinary champions come together to enliven and celebrate a magnificent two-day music event.
The festival will feature an eclectic group of musicians from all corners of Bali and aims to break down barriers, provide a platform where these talented musicians can get exposure to international audiences, and take the local music culture to greater heights.
The first instalment will showcase 12 local bands, headline by two acts, Marapu & Unb’rocken and will take place in two different venues. The first day of the festival will take place in the fresh and vibrant BornBright on Saturday, 12 October 2019, from 10am – 12am, while the second day will take place at the newly developed villa complex, Boheme, on Sunday, 13 October 2019, from 11am – 12am. The event will also have over 20 local vendors and businesses from retail to food and beverages, as well as workshop and kids activities.
