A progressive cocktail bar, The Pontiac Stardust is a cosmic road trip through 1950’s/60’s Palm Springs, helmed by award-winning bartender, Beckaly Franks. Beckaly is the first female mixologist to win the prestigious 42 Below Cocktail World Cup. Prior to moving to Bali she was in Hong Kong running sister venue The Pontiac, a craft-dive bar which has been a fixture on the prestigious Asia’s 50 Best Bars list for 4 years in a row. The bar’s cocktail menu brings a brand of concoctions that are the perfect balance while being fun and playful such as “Last Resort & Spa” (Nusa Caña rum, dry vermouth, maraschino), “The Sonya” (Bintang Radler, float of p.o.g., lemon wedge), and “White Limo” (pandan vodka, Luxardo Bianco, banana, lemon, orange bitters, chilli salt & pepper).
The bar’s interior takes a blend of the classic mid-century style and overlays it with some cosmic vibes. Fabrics get more fun with more colourful patterns, and the eclectic character of the early days of the California hippy movement mix with space helmets and astronauts.
