SAMA SAMA Kitchen is an Indonesian inspired restaurant, located in Santa Barbara California, USA. It uses the freshest local ingredients sourced at nearby local farms. The restaurant is headed by chefs Ryan Simorangkir and Tyler Peek, cocktails are concocted by their very own mixologist, Spencer Cantrell.

Ryan Simorangkir, who is very passionate about cooking started his culinary journey by attending the Cordon Bleu School in Pasadena. The Indonesian born chef grew up in Jakarta and Santa Barbara. His past experience includes the Grammy and Academy Awards events with Wolfgang Puck and leading the culinary team at Warung Kayu, Bali.
Tyler Peek was born in Tampa Bay, Florida, and then moved to Tennessee. Tyler, together with Ryan and few other friends set up a catering company during high school, serving food for weddings and barbeques.
