THE ST. REGIS EXCEPTIONAL CHAMPAGNE JOURNEY
After the success of hosting the Cristal Champagne and Caviar dinner last year in June 2015, The St. Regis Bali Resort is gearing up to present another extraordinary champagne dinner, this time in collaboration with the renowned French luxury goods company LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE. The St. Regis Exceptional Champagne Journey – as the name suggests – will allow connoisseurs to be taken on a journey to explore different varieties of the world’s most prestigious champagnes.
From distinguished brands such as La Grande Dame, Krug, Ruinart, to the most prestigious Dom Pérignon and Dom Pérignon Rosé, each of them will be paired courses from a six course degustation menu, crafted and prepared with only the finest ingredients by Executive Chef Agung Gede. The bespoke event will be held in the resort’s Kayuputi restaurant on 14 May 2016 from 7 PM onwards.

AYANA’S NEW DAVA IS NOW COOKING
After taking some time off for an all-round makeover, the new Dava Bar & Grill Restaurant at Ayana has recently re-opened its doors, taking Bali’s seafood grill and steak house experience to a whole new level. Dava’s chic atmosphere welcomes foodies of all ages to sit back and relax with their favourite beverage, while reveling in a fiery culinary performance as a talented team of chefs work their magic. Each dish may be complemented by an extensive selection of side dishes including Truffle Mash Potato, Double Baked Cheese Potato, Creamy Spinach with Parmesan and Tempura Onion Rings. Dava’s house specialty is Roasted Boneless Suckling Pig, served with an inventive Jung Papaya Salad, steamed rice and flavorful BBQ sauce.

PAPA! I MADE A PIZZA
Everyone loves pizza, but not everyone can make one! Four Points Bali has just launched their newest program, P.I.M.P (Papa! I Made a Pizza) at their cozy roadside beer garden meets restaurant, The Best Brew. For only IDR 185,000++ per adult and IDR 95,000++ for children (under 12 years old), you are invited to learn the secret skills of a pizza maker and create your very own authentic wood fired pizza from scratch: tossing and turning that tasty hunk of dough, plotting the toppings, putting it to the wood fired oven, right up until it comes out sizzling with the very flavours and tastes suited to you!
As is appropriate for The Best Brew, a draught beer is included in the adult price, or house wine, soft drinks and lemon tea is also on offer. The children will get a scoop of gelato to finish up their Italian-inspired meals. AN IZAKAYA-STYLED RESTAURANT OPENS DOORS IN BERAWA
Adding a new flavour to Canggu’s dining scene, One Eyed Jack is a modern Japanese Izakaya and Sake Bar located in Pantai Berawa. Izakayas are small bars, typically found in Japan’s urban areas, serving an eclectic mix of dishes meant to be shared. They are often small, cozy and noisy “holes in walls” filled with good vibes. In Japan, Izakayas are popular post-work and weekend hangouts perfect for congregating with friends while enjoying an eclectic mix of shared plates over drinks. One Eyed Jack follows the same philosophy, but with a strong focus on the food. The chef is ex-Nobu, preparing a mix of traditional classics and modern style Japanese dishes. The bar menu includes an extensive Sake selection, Japanese inspired cocktails, Chuhais, Japanese whiskey and beer, wines, and the other usual suspects.
As a Sake Bar, One Eyed Jack naturally carries a well-rounded Sake offering. For the casual Sake drinker, they have a house Sake, served either chilled or warm. For those looking for more refined flavour profiles, they have a range of premium Sakes, including Nama, Honjozo, Sparkling, Nigori, Junmai, Junmai Ginjo, and Junmai Daiginjo types.
