As its name suggests, TANAH Uluwatu Bakery & Grill excels in its freshly baked delights and gourmet grilled dishes, welcoming guests from morning to night.
Immediately catching the attention of any who drive through Uluwatu, the enticing venue’s rustic façade perfectly complements the limestone cliffs of the southern peninsula. The open-air restaurant’s natural woods and bright beige colour schemes give both the interiors and exteriors a warm, natural atmosphere, to be a cosy home for guests throughout the day and into the evening.
Inside, comfy sofa seating and proper dining tables allow for choice, whether hoping to lounge over a coffee break or sit down for a proper dining experience. The back of the venue opens up to views of the birch woodlands that populate TANAH’s backyard, and comfortable outdoor seating allows dining among the elements.
Open from early morning all the way through to late at night, the menu offerings at TANAH Uluwatu Bakery & Grill span a great variety. The artisanal bakery is definitely one of the main pulls, with tempting viennoiserie goodies including classic butter and almond croissants, pain au chocolat and delicious danishes.
The brunch menu itself presents everything from healthy bites to guilty pleasures. Refresh with an Açai or Spirulina Smoothie Bowl, or go classic brunch with Overnight French Toast (served with dark chocolate cremeaux!), Smoked Salmon Scrambled Eggs, Chunky Avocado Toast or Tanah’s McMuffin with pork and fennel sausage.
If it’s leaning towards more into the lunch hours, you’ll find classic deli-style sandwiches like the Fried Chicken Schnitzel Focaccia or Jono’s Grilled Sausage Sandwich, of course using house-baked focaccia, sourdough and other breads. Heftier mains include Fish & Chips, and gourmet pasta dishes.
