Thanksgiving Day Dinner at Karma Kandara Bali

Thanksgiving is a personal affair for Californian-native, Chef Joseph Antonishek, Karma Group’s Executive Chef. As such, this Thanksgiving dinner on 28 November 2024 will feature some of his own childhood favourites, bridging tradition into the tropics with this planned feast. Sit down with family and friends and indulge in a dining experience set high in the picturesque clifftops of Uluwatu.
The Thanksgiving spread includes a Farine bread service, complemented by housemade cranberry; devilled eggs given a Japanese twist with uni-blended yolks and ikura salmon roe; house-cured salmon gravlax infused with locally-distilled East Indies gin. Chef Joseph brings family secrets to the table, serving up Mama Antonishek’s legendary green bean casserole, crowned with crispy fried onions and her savoury sourdough bread stuffing; and of course, the pièce de résistance, di Mare’s roasted turkey, with the finest imported American birds, brined to perfection in tangy homemade apple cider infused with savoury herbs, orange slices, and a medley of perfect holiday spices.
From vibrant salads, duck rilettes, creamy whipped potatoes, black truffle-infused macaroni and cheese, and Chef’s own pumpkin pie, elevated with a bourbon-infused sabayon, this is a Thanksgiving feast that goes above and beyond!
