Road to Give Bali 2024: Marriott International’s Annual Charity Run Returns

Marriott International proudly presents the return of its annual running event, Road to Give Bali 2024, marking the 10^th edition of its flagship charity run. In celebration of its decade milestone, this year’s event is themed “10 Years of Moving: A Decade of Giving”.

Organised by the Marriott Business Council in Bali, Road to Give Bali 2024 is set to take place on Saturday, 12 October 2024 in Nusa Dua, where business and social running communities will gather for a common cause.

This much-anticipated fundraising event is set to take place at Peninsula Island, ITDC, Nusa Dua, where over 2,000 participants from Marriott International’s associates in Bali, running communities, and the general public will join a 5K run that starts at 6am, plus additional activities surrounding the main event. The “Road to Give Bali 2024” is a collaborative effort of 31 Marriott International properties in Bali and Labuan Bajo.

All proceeds from this charity event will support Marriott International’s Serve 360 programmes in Indonesia through key partnerships with local non-profit organisations. This year’s event will be dedicated to supporting two life-changing initiatives: the Bali Children’s Foundation – to support the education of children with special needs and those from underprivileged backgrounds in Bali; and the Solar Chapter – to aid remote communities in East Nusa Tenggara by providing access to clean water.

In an inspiring partnership, Marriott International Indonesia and Solar Chapter are collaborating in 2024 to install a solar-powered pump system in the village of Tasinifu, extending the #IndonesiaMerdekaAir movement and ensuring clean water access for the community. This initiative is an integral step towards building a brighter and healthier future for the Tasinifu community.

Moreover, participants can also support the cause by bidding on lavish stays at Marriott International’s hotels and resorts worldwide through an online auction on 26 October 2024, open until 8pm (Bali time), while direct donations are welcome for those who would like to contribute beyond the event.

In addition to the 5K run, participants will receive a commemorative Road to Give 2024 jersey, access to Zumba sessions, kids’ activities, and unique F&B stalls, unifying local businesses and communities.
