Bringing nineteen years of culinary experience, Daniel H. Chaney has been appointed as the new Executive Chef of Henry’s Grill & Bar, driving the wood fired grill known as ‘the Beast’. Danny began his Executive Chef career in Florida at the Sunset Bistro, Beachview Country Club, Sanctuary Golf & Tennis Club and Tween Waters Inn before he moved to Waterloo House of Horizons Bermuda. The executive chef’s experiences also extend when he worked in Hong Kong at The American Club, Craftsteak and Blue Butcher Restaurant & Bar until he finally moved to Bali and worked for Boy’N’Cow.
Henry’s Grill & Bar is Kuta’s first fire-powered menu, eschewing efficiency and convenience to showcase the natural beauty of wood fired cooking. The menu is entirely driven by wood fire and everything is cooked to order. Situated at one of the most crowded and popular roads in Bali, in front of Aryaduta Bali and beside Lippo Mall Kuta, the 2-storey modern space features an open kitchen that centres around two custom-made stainless-steel grill, with some additional in-house entertainments, such as TV and big screen for live sports events, billiard table and classic arcade machine.
