To commemorate Indonesian Independence Day, Le Méridien Bali Jimbaran is proud to announce its continuous contribution to support Balinese culture with an enriching and inspiring charity night that will take place on 14 August 2015.
This event will showcase the best culture, couture, and cuisine of Bali. While the living legend Balinese dancer, Maestro Gus Aji Blangsinga will be the main focus of this event, the event will also feature a live painting show by Ponco Setyohadi, sunset fashion show by the Bali chapter of APPMI (Indonesian Young Designers and Entrepreneurs Association), and a 4-course meal by top well-known chefs: Mandif Warokka, Penelope Williams, Rahung Nasution and the next and upcoming Executive Chef, Justin Wong.
The event will take place in various venues of the resort. To start, the art exhibition by Ponco Setyohadi will captivate the guests on their arrival at Latitude 8.
Then, guests are invited up to the resort’s rooftop Celebration Pavilion to enjoy complimentary cocktails and canapés while watching the fashion parade while the sun sets. The main event will take place in Bale Banjar, where guests are guaranteed to be captivated by the richness of Indonesian culture through the captivating dance performance from the Maestro and delightful Indonesian dishes.
