In the park, the children can learn the role of the butterfly in the world as they watch the charming insects collect the flower’s nectar and at the same time help the plants reproduce. Watch carefully, you may spot a couple of butterflies mating while hanging on a fresh green leaf. A butterfly goes through four stages of life. The caterpillar spends its life eating and munching the leafy greens until they get big and it’s time to weave a cocoon around its body.
