Ko Restaurant, Teppanyaki & Cocktail Lounge at the InterContinental Bali Resort, has prepared an inviting Tuesday evening at their Teppanyaki counter, where Japanese food cannot simply sit as it sizzles; it leaps, and flips, and turns and twists!
Armed with razor-sharp knives, the chefs behind a teppanyaki counter are more like kitchen samurais; skilled with a blade and with the reactions and precision to match. Whilst they’re not marching majestically into battle, their talents are surely just as honourable with their ability to amaze anyone seated at their grill. If you’re after some Japanese food in Jimbaran, KO certainly has something unique to offer.
Adorned in a fiery red, the decor at KO restaurant in the InterContinental Bali Resort Jimbaran matches the licking flames that rise high above the table-top, lighting up the faces of delighted patrons. Before them, an array of fresh, raw ingredients is cooked to perfection. Fresh slices of fish, from tuna, barramundi and salmon are flipped into the air before being sizzled in a light soy, whilst succulent specialities of meat are chopped in expert fashion, knives thrown behind backs and over heads, meat caught at the end of forks, flopping in perfect tenderness ready to bite into. An assortment of grilled vegetables to compliment, and much more, of course. It’s Japanese food in Jimbaran with fun and flare.
Teppanyaki is the ultimate “chef’s table” experience where the “dinner and the show” are all in one. Every Tuesday, seats are reserved for you at 6.30pm or 8.30pm in front of the chef. Accompanied by free-flow Sake, beers and wines, you can be assured it’s going to be a good evening.
