We’re pretty sure there’s nothing you enjoy more than a day at the spa. As it turns out, your kids may want to be pampered, too. To meet the need of pampering children, spa establishments on the island are rolling out treatments geared towards the little ones.
At Conrad Bali in Tanjung Benoa, Jiwa Spa encompasses a seamless series of indoor and outdoor spaces created with wellness in mind and inspired by the latest spa rituals. Named in honour of the Indonesian word for ‘soul’, Jiwa Spa takes the ancient traditions of Indonesia and artfully blends them with modern features.
The spa has a famous kids menu that is all about bubbles and fun, less like the traditional treatments, the Jiwa Spa kids menu is more about creating a really great bathing time, with added treats for boys and girls, including specially delivered snacks and drinks. That’s right, at Jiwa Spa children can also benefit from a range of pioneering, personalised programs that the whole family can enjoy together, or special bonding experiences between mother and daughter, father and son.
Apart from the fun bath session, the kids personalised spa menu at Jiwa includes Children’s Back Massage, Footbath and Foot Mask, and Manicure or Pedicure. Mommy and daddy too can join in the relaxing fun through the spa’s “Mum/Dad and Me” package, where parents and children can indulge in a footbath and moisture balance facial or inner radiance massage. Alternatively, a little indulgence for the little ones can buy the adults some peaceful moments alone to enjoy the quiet spaces of the resort.

In Ungasan, Karma Kandara sits dramatically on a cliff’s edge, offering soulful health, beauty, and wellbeing at the resort’s Karma Spa. Head to the spa’s open-air platform where soft breezes caress your skin as you indulge in a cleansing ritual in the spa’s Infrared Detox Sauna and Himalayan Crystal Salt Pool. With traditional Chinese medicine, massage and wellness therapies, this is a true sanctuary for mind and body.
Your little ones will definitely enjoy the spa’s ice cream foot and leg massages, where they can choose from yummy, natural flavours including coconut, vanilla, mint, berry, cocoa, and ginger for the massages. Karma’s deliciously clean and gentle Princess Manicure offers a choice of scrubs and lotions in strawberry or chocolate. This treatment includes a luxurious hand and arm massage with professional nail polish application.
In the popular Kuta, Alaya Kuta is recognised for its fresh design and affordable luxury, and as much for kids as it is for adults, from the “wow” scale-size Formula 1 car hanging in the hotel lobby to the boundless wet adventures at Waterbom – the hotel’s next door neighbour and Asia’s number one ranked waterpark.

Where there’s adrenaline there’s relaxation and nothing could be more unwinding than the spa menu for kids at Alaya’s DaLa Spa. The treatments here are designed to calm excited children with items such as the spa’s signature treatment, “Pamper Me,” a 30-minute facial using French skincare products from THÉMAÉ, followed by a 30-minute massage. DaLa Spa is known for its cananga (similar to ylang-ylang) infused coconut body scrub although for kids “Yummy Body Scrub,” is more like breakfast, with a mix of oatmeal, honey and fresh coconut milk.
