Betelnut Ubud will be graced by a rare performance of Marlon Titre, a young guitar maestro from Holland who has won more than 20 awards from6 countries. Titre’s quick rise to world fame began when he became a Junior Composer in Residence for the Residence Orchestra.  A few years later he moved up the ladder by claiming first prize in the prestigious Michele Pittaluga guitar competition. And the age of 25 he appeared live on a tv show for Queen Beatrix before graduating with “10 with distinction” from the Royal Conservatory. Since 2010 Titre is holding a professorship for guitar at Fontys University in Tilburg.

Marlon Titre also find time to perform at festivals and shows in 18 countries, including the United States, Italy, Russia, and China. On April 4 Marlon Titre will bring his exceptional guitar playing to Ubud in Marlon Titre in Concert, a musical soiree at Betelnut presented the Dutch Cultural Center, Erasmus Huis.
