It’s been almost a decade since Bulgari Resort welcomed its first guest. The resort is located near the village of Pecatu and the stunning cliff-top site of the Pura Luhur Uluwatu Temple, on the island’s far Southwest tip. The Jimbaran Bay and the international airport lie approximately 20 kilometres North of the resort while Kuta, the touristy heart of Bali, is a 40 minute-drive away.

Clinging to the cliffs of Uluwatu, the beautiful resort spans150 metres above the seashore, with magnificent views of the Indian Ocean. The secluded setting of the 59 villas is complimented by the exquisite blend of traditional Balinese style and dramatic, contemporary Italian design by architects Antonio Citterio Viel and Partners. The grounds resemble medieval gardens, with walls enclosing tropical vegetation and private gardens. A birds eye view of the property would only reveal what may look like your typical Balinese village, as the buildings are topped with traditional thatched roofs.

Each villa is surrounded bytall bay windows and doors, which opens the interior to a fabulous view of the ocean, and also allowed the warm natural light to shine into the lavish Bulgari rooms.

The bathroom is designed for pure indulgence. Options include both an indoor and outdoor walk-in shower, and a palatial bathtub to soak in. Aromatherapy candles and burning incense are available as well, lit with just a quick flick of the match, to enhance your rejuvenation experience.

The villa has a private pool, inviting you for a refreshing swim during those hot Bali days.

From time to time, friendly visitors – Monkeys of Uluwatu – will pass by to say hello. Guests are suggested not to leave food or valuables anywhere in the open-air living room. These cheeky guests are often tempted to take what isn’t theirs – perhaps they’ve been inspired by your fashion sense! Aside from this, they are usually quite harmless. A butler is assigned for each villa to attend all the guest’s needs.

Besides its unrivalled natural setting, the resort also boasts sophisticated facilities, such as Il Ristorante, an Italian restaurant; Sangkar, an Indonesian restaurant; the lounge bar, the Spa and the cliff-edge. A Bulgari store, a Balinese arts and crafts store as well as business, conference and wedding facilities complete the resort’s unique features.

Nestled between the cliff and the ocean, a 1.5 kilometre long beach is accessible only through the resort’s inclined elevator that will take guests to the beach where the Beach Club sits. A trip down to the Beach Club is another experience it self, allowing you to not only see the beautiful sea, but actually jump in and enjoy it!
