Il Ristorante – Luca Fantin at Bulgari Resort Bali invites you to delight in an exceptional collection of fine wines crafted by Gaja Winery this August the 10th (starting 10pm). The Gaja Winery was founded in Barbaresco, in Italy’s renowned Piedmont region in 1859 by Giovanni Gaja and has been owned and managed continuously by the Gaja family. Ms Gaia Gaja, who continues the legacy of the fifth generation of the Gaja family will showcase the acclaimed wines paired with the culinary creations of resident Head Chef Fabrizio Crocetta.
During the special evening you’ll be treated to a series of fine creations Il Ristorante is known for, along with Gaja’s accompanying wines. Aperitivo along with a selection canapés will be served to kick start the evening (wine pairing: Bisol Cartizze, Prosecco di Valdobbiadene DOCG, 2014). You will then proceed with Carpaccio di capesante (Japanese scallop carpaccio) with Gaja Rossj Bass, Langhe DOC, 2014, before moving on to Spaghetti freddi al caviale (cold spaghetti with caviar) with Gaja Rossj Bass, Langhe DOC, 2014. Tartufo (lack truffle risotto) with CA’Marcanda Magari, Bolgheri DOC, 2013, will come next, followed by Maiale Iberico (Iberico pork with vegetables) with Gaja Dagromis, Barolo DOCG, 2011, and Wagyu melanzana (Wagyu beef eggplant) with Gaja Barbaresco DOCG, 2012. As the sweet finale Cioccolato (chocolate textures) with Gaja Barbaresco DOCG, 2009, will be served to conclude your opulent feast.
The Gaja Wine Experience is offered at IDR 2,300,000++ per person. Reservations recommended.
