Adhek Sport Fishing (ASF) is a credible and recommended company who professionally handle sport fishing in Bali and other islands in Indonesia, such as Lombok and Komodo. Sport fishing communities in other countries, like Japan, Australia, Singapore, and Malaysia, have also recognized ASF’s expertise and professionalism. Taking a fishing trip with ASF during your stay in Bali is sure to add some adventure to your holiday. Their credibility in sport fishing is of course tied significantly to their great concern towards marine sustainability. They practice and promote the Catch and Release system, in the hope that this will preserve marine-life biodiversity.

Their new boat named Hapuka is a 13 meter long speedboat, with two 225 four stroke engines, which takes customers to Nusa Penida in just 90 minutes! To maximize fun and flexibility, ASF only accommodates for one group, with a maximum of 6 people per trip. Another impressive thing about them is that they have made their on special ‘popper’ (a fishing lure made to look like a small, fish), designed to adapt to the local sea conditions and helps to attract aggressive sea fish. It is part of their efforts to provide good sport and fun to fishing aficionados chasing larger targets such as the Amberjack, Giant Trevally, Barracuda, Blue Trevally, Mahi Mahi, Grouper, Mackarel Tuna, and Rainbow Runner.

Among fishing fanatics, Bali is known as the best place to tackle the giant trevally, or GT. When the giant trevally season comes around in Bali, which is between November and February, it is complete with big waves and a choppy ocean. Batu Abah, around Nusa Penida Island, is a famous GT spot. Here, during GT season, the north and south ocean currents collide, and then move together eastwards, causing turbulent waters. The GT love these strong currents, as they wait for their prey along the current’s edge.!
