Heralding from the western part of Java, Sundanese food is famous for fresh raw vegetables, known as “Lalap,” eaten with sambal (traditional chili paste) along with fresh fried fish or chicken as its staples.
Sundanese cuisine features a range of flavours, from salty, to sour, to mild sweetness, to hot and spicy. From October 15 to December 14, The Long Rice Table will feature delectable dishes from this region’s cuisine, including, Daging Gepuk, Ikan Pesmol, Sayur Lodeh and many more.
