Continuing their success of Watercress Café, this popular Batu Belig locale extends its opening hours into the night with Watercress Malam.
Many are familiar with the long-standing and ever-popular Watercress Café; heading in for a healthy breakfast accompanied by a cup of delicious revolver coffee, or perhaps a fresh lunch either a la carte or from their warung-style showcase of quiches, salads and more.
During the day, Watercress is friendly and light, the perfect place to meet with friends or just sit in the corner of their al-fresco garden to read and eat. It’s this very ambience that has made Watercress so popular amongst both tourists and residents.
The kitchen is taken over by Chef Josh Davies who uses the freshest ingredients to create rustic world flavors and hearty meals. The menu, different from Watercress during the day, showcases food from the garden, sea, the grill, the East and even some feasts for two to share.
Some particular favourites are the Tuna Tataki Nori Watercress Salad, a sublimely prepared dish that opens as a great starter. The King Prawn Linguini Aglio Olio is a favourite from their seafood options, whilst the Crispy Confit Duck Leg ignites the taste buds from those choosing from the Char Grill selections. The menu is of course extensive and has something for everyone.

Better yet, the Garden Bar is open with plenty of cocktail options that, although alcoholic, will strangely make you feel healthy! Like everything else in Watercress, these colourful concoctions are stuffed with fresh ingredients because of course, Mother Nature knows best.

The atmosphere is something to note, the buzz of Watercress Cafe gears down slightly at night and with the lights dimmed, a warm, cozy feel sweeps across the restaurant floor. With tasty food and a warm vibes, it’s hard to go wrong here.
