Standing solidly since 1994, Hatten Wines was the first Balinese winery that brought a taste of Bali to dining tables in the most extraordinary way. One of their varieties, Pino de Bali, has been awarded the trophy for ‘Best Dessert Wine From South East Asia’ and the Gold Medal for ‘Sweet Fortified Wines’ at the world-renowned Cathay Pacific Hong Kong International Wine & Spirit Competition 2017. Other Hatten Wines varieties like the Rosé, Alexandria, Jepun Sparkling Rosé, and Tunjung Sparkling Brut also received Bronze Medals in the prestigious competition. With 49 judges, including five of Asia’s Masters of Wine, the competition is regarded as the Asian Guide to the world’s finest wine and spirits. The judging panel is drawn from educators, buyers, media, key opinion leaders, hospitality professionals and others in the beverage industry in Asia. Asia’s top industry experts made sure that the wines that were selected were suited to Asian taste preferences.
