Ayodya Resort Bali’s Big Stride Forward

What's On | Written By, NOW! BALI | March 1st, 2013

Ayodya Resort Bali began the New Year with a number of great achievements.  Firstly, a desalination plant has been installed to reduce the reliance on groundwater for its daily consumption. The machinery employs reverse osmosis technology, which reduces dissolved salt content in saline water to a usable level.  Drinking water produced through the technology conforms to 350 total dissolve solids (TDS) per 1 million parts, significantly higher than the world water standards issued by the World Health Organization (WHO).

The general public can also benefit from the reverse osmosis technology as unconsumed desalinated water from Ayodya Resort Bali is distributed by the government to the local community.  This is one way in which the resort’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program will bring a positive impact to the community.  Ayodya Resort Bali is the first hotel in South Kuta to operate the environmentally-friendly technology.

And then comes the 2012 Holly Award from Germany’s leading tour operator, TUI, which handles more than half a million German tourists every year.  The award recognizes Ayodya Resort Bali for its location, excellence in service, hotel facilities and quality of food. It puts Ayodya as the only 5-star hotel in Indonesia in the world’s top 100 hotels list based on the responses from TUI clients. The TUI Holly Award was presented at a recent annual celebration to acknowledge the most popular hotels in the world.

Ayoda should be just as proud of winning the 2012 Zoover award from Zoover. The prominent Netherlands based independent website features accommodation, destination, activity reviews and comments from its clients.  Ayodya came out as 2012’s most recommended resort, scoring an overall guest rating of 9.1 out of 10.  The website publishes reviews by travelers who have stayed at the property based on service standards, quality of food, location, ambience and style.

Martin Aeschlimann, the General Manager of Ayodya Resort Bali is clearly very pleased with the highly prestigious Zoover award.  It fortifies the resort’s commitment to continually exceed guests’ expectations on its way to becoming Asia’s leading resort.
