Throughout this month, the dining outlets of Grand Hyatt Bali are showcasing the diversity of world cuisine. At the resort’s beachfront Salsa Verde Italian restaurant, you will be able to taste Sardinia’s iconic cuisine this June, from a light appetiser of seared tuna salad with Sardinian flat bread, healthy shrimp and bell pepper soup to main courses such as linguine with clams and white wine sauce, as well as indulgent pork and lamb chops with traditional Sardinian pasta. Grand Hyatt Bali’s Japanese restaurant, Nampu, is going well beyond sushi and sashimi. This month, the restaurant’s Chef Shozo Yoshioka is happy to introduce diners to food from his hometown on Kyushu island, which is one of Japan’s four main islands and home to some of the country’s most popular dishes. Chef Yoshioka’s specials include dishes as diverse as sashimi mackerel, simmered chicken gameni, ramen noodles with pork stock and pork belly (the island’s specialty) and fried chicken.
At the resort’s Garden Cafe, curry is on the spotlight this month. From spicy Balinese curry to fragrant Thai curry, you can indulge in the diversity of spices used throughout the continent. Chef Iwan Hapiz and his team have chosen some of Asia’s most striking curries, including Malaysian asam pedas fish curry, Thai duck red curry, Balinese sari segara seafood curry and laksa. Prepared using authentic recipes, these curries will awaken all the senses.
