W Bali’s signature pan-Asian restaurant, Starfish Bloo has launched an addition to its dinner options with a new beachside, nine-course Inspired Dining Menu, curated by the restaurant’s chef de cuisine, Ash Garvey. Diners ordering the set menu will have the exclusivity to dine in Starfish Bloo’s beachfront ICE Deck. The space resembles a private terrace for intimate dinner occasions, offering an unmatched vantage point of the legendary Seminyak Beach. The deck is available to cater a romantic dinner for two to an intimate group dinner seating up to ten people.
The culinary journey is inspired by Chef Ash’s personal exploration of the Indonesian cuisine, celebrating the flavours and memories he has encountered – from seafood markets, rice fields, to his wife’s remote village in Java. Dishes served will combine authentic Indonesian tastes with modern innovations, sticking to the Asian fusion character the restaurant is famous for. The menu includes “Tuna” (sambal ulek, ginger flower), “Braised Beef” (croquette, Javanese spices), “BBQ Quail” (rice husks, bumbu paste), “Rawon Tea” (lobster, glass noodles, herbs), “Crispy Prawn” (yuzu, Sriracha), “Salmon” (crab, sweet corn, dumpling), “Duck Breast” (red curry, cauliflower, coconut milk), “Passion Fruit” (mango, coconut), and “Bali Chocolate” (smoked orange, liquid nitrogen).
